Irene Aldana wins by new high reel finish – stops Chiasson with historic upkick liver TKO!

Mexican Irena Aldana just faced Macy Chiasson in a catchweight bout at the main card UFC 279.
The tough fighters arguably had one round each going into the third and final round. Midway through the round, Aldana was able to land a historic TKO with a perfectly timed upkick to the liver of Chiasson, who immediatelyfell to the canvas.
“We train all kinds of technique,” Aldana said about her great finish. “Every kind of technique and I’m glad it came out tonight.”

With the spectacular finish, the Mexican bantamweight has two straight wins in the promotion.

Dana White: “We love Irene Aldana”
At the UFC 279 post-fight press conference, Dana White was impressed by the finish.
“We love Aldana. I don’t know what we are going to do next, but you know like I said, we don’t make fights the night of the fights, but she looked great, she is awesome, we love her. What an incredible way to finish a fight. We’ll see what’s next for her,” White said.
