Jorge Masvidal made his UFC debut in April 2013 with a unanimous decision win over Tim Means. After a decade in the promotion, fighting for the welterweight title twice and becoming one of the sport’s absolute brightest shining stars, ”Gamebred” called it a day after losing to Gilbert Burns at UFC 287 on his home soil in Florida.
The loss was his fourth straight after winning the BMF title in 2019.
Masvidal became one the the biggest names in the UFC after knocking out ONE champion Ben Askren with a spectacular flying knee just seconds into their fight at UFC 239 in July 2019. The 5-second-KO marked the fastest knockout in UFC history.
