Lina Länsberg loses gruelling fight at UFC Vegas 69

Swedish bantamweight Lina Länsberg just took on Brazil’s Mayra Bueno Silva at UFC Vegas 69.

Bueno Silva started the fight with heavy pressure, landing kicks to the body and legs. Länsberg found some success in the clinch, but the Brazilian ended the round with a takedown.

The No. 12 ranked Swede started the second round aggressively with solid striking, but Bueno Silva was able to take the fight to the ground. With fifteen seconds left of the round, the Brazilian secured a kneebar that forced Länsberg to tap.

Lina Länsberg has four straight losses

The Swedish fighter has four straight losses in the UFC, and currently holds a professional MMA record of 10-8. Her last win came against Macy Chiasson in September 2019.

UFC Vegas 69 is headlined by a women’s flyweight fight between surging contender Erin Blanchfield and former strawweight champion Jessica Andrade.
