One of the most hyped fighters from the last season of Dana White’s Contender Series, Nurullo Aliev, is set to make his promotional debut on February 25.

The undefeated Tajikistani 23-year-old will face Rafael Alves in a lightweight contest at UFC Fight Night 220. Aliev made his professional debut in 2018 and has a record of 8-0.

At the DWCS 55 post-fight press conferences back in September, Aliev claimed to be ready to take on anyone in the stacked division.

“I already said to Dana give me right away. You can give me even top 15 if you wanted.”

The Brazilian fighter Alves is 1-2 in the UFC, and fought nothing but tough opponents in Damir Ismagulov, Marc Diakiese and Drew Dober.
