On Saturday January 14, UFC returns with their first event of 2023.

UFC Vegas 67 will take place at the Apex in Las Vegas and was supposed to be headlined by a middleweight five-rounder between Nassourdine Imavov and Kelvin Gastelum.

However, No. 13 Gastelum was forced to withdraw from the fight due to a mouth injury, and No. 7 ranked Sean Strickland came to the rescue to step in against Imavov on short notice.

No. 12 ranked Imavov rides a three-fight winning streak and comes from a win against Joaquin Buckley at UFC Paris.

In the featherweight co-main event, No. 13 ranked Dan Ige will take on Damon Jackson, who aims to break into the rankings if he wins his fifth fight in a row.

The main card also features a highly interesting women’s bantamweight bout between No. 2 ranked Ketlen Vieira and No. 5 ranked Raquel Pennington, as well as the return of undefeated bantamweight Umar Nurmagomedov.
