UFC lightweight star Paddy Pimblett just defeated Jared Gordon in the lightweight co-main event.
In the first round, Pimblett landed heavy leg kicks but Gordon found success with his left hook. Round two was back-and-forth. Gordon was more composed while ”The Baddy” swung more widely. Pimblett had a submission attempt but ”Flash” was able to get out.
In the third, Gordon pressed against the cage, but could not do any serious damage.
After the final bell, the Liverpudlian stood as the winner with 29-28 on all three judges’ scorecards.
”That was not close,” Pimblett said. ”I won the first two rounds. Jared is one tough motherfucker. Hats off to Jared. I want to work together outside the cage.”
