Phuket Top Team, the reputable MMA Training Camp in Thailand, recently came with an unusual request to top ranked UFC lightweight Justin Gaethje.
On social media, they claimed that his next opponent, No. 6 ranked Rafael Fiziev, had failed to pay three months of rent to the gym – and now Phuket Top Team wants Gaethje to collect the bills at UFC 286 in London.
“Fiziev owes 3 months rent for over 3 years to Thai house owner. Has written to them saying he would pay multiple times, but never has. Doesn’t dispute owing rent just doesn’t want want to pay it. Justin Gaethje please collect the rent,” Phuket Top Team wrote on Twitter.

In another tweet, Phuket Top Team claimed to have all the “paper work and messages to prove it”. At the moment, Fiziev has not yet responded to the claims.
Justin Gaethje and Rafael Fiziev will clash at UFC 286
The UFC recently announced that Justin Gaethje and Rafael Fiziev will fight on March 18, at UFC 286 in London.
No. 3 ranked Gaethje last competed for the division’s title against then-champion Charles “do Bronx” Oliveira in May 2022, while No. 6 ranked Fiziev rides an six-fight winning streak that includes victories against Brad Riddell, Renato Moicano and former 155-champ Rafael dos Anjos.
The headline bout of the event will be a welterweight title fight between champion Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman.
