According to French news outlet Le Parisian, the UFC heavyweight contender Ciryl Gane’s apartment outside Paris was burgled during his headline fight at UFC Paris this past Saturday.
The report states that the police were called to the house at 19:30 CET.
Among the stolen items was an Rolex watch and jewels with an estimated worth of €150,000 were stolen from the residence.
The French heavyweight put on a masterclass performance as he ran over Serghei Spivac in the main event of UFC Paris. Gane controlled the fight from the start and used his excellent footwork to land punches at will on his Russian opponent.
In the second round, “Bon Gamin” stepped on the gas and was able to TKO his opponent with a flurry of punches.
The win in front of his hometown crowd at the Accor Arena in Paris was Gane’s first since falling short to Jon Jones in their heavyweight title bout back in March.
Ciryl Gane has lost two fights in the UFC, both for the heavyweight championship.
