Swedish striker Christopher “El Bandido” Bajo will fight twice this autumn – one fight in MMA and one in Muay Thai.
On Saturday he will step into the MMA cage to take on the tough fan favorite Toni Lampinen in the co-main event at Fight Club Rush 17 in Uppsala.
In a new interview with Frontkick’s sister site Maximum Sports, the former Muay Thai champion claimed he’s looking for blood against the tough Finnish fighter.
“Blood! Not my blood I hope,” Bajo said. “It will be good, like always. I will put on a show, I will show a lot of creativity. I will get a good win, a highlight reel – nothing else!”
Over the past few years, “El Bandido” has split his time between the Muay Thai ring and the MMA cage, racking up wins in organizations like MTFL, FCR, Wolf Fight Promotion and UAE Warriors.
Talking to Maximum Sports, the striker reveals that there is a former opponent that he really want’s to test himself against again.
“There is a old Muay Thai opponent of mine that competes in PFL at 77 kilo, I know that he wants to fight me again but in MMA. That’s an interesting matchup. A Norwegian Muay Thai fighter named Magnus Onyeka, who knock outs his opponents. That would have been fun.”
