In the co-main event bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling defeated interim champion Petr Yan in a highly competetive and even bout.

The long-awaited fight between top ranked welterweights Khamzat Chimaev and Gilbert Burns became a bloody battle where “Borz” stood as the winner via unanimous decision after three tough rounds.
