Undefeated welterweight standout Shavkat Rakhmonov just faced the tough Geoff Neal in the main card at UFC 285.
After two rounds, that was as gruelling as they were exciting, Rakhmonov finally found his seventeenth finish as he submitted Neal with a standing rear-naked-choke.

Shavkat Rakhmonov wants title fight: ”I’m ready now”
The No. 9 ranked welterweight keeps marching against the very top of the division.
”One or two fights before the title shot. I’m ready now,” Shavkat Rakhmonov said in the post-fight interview with Joe Rogan. ”He’s a great opponent.”
If he doesn’t get a shot at the title next, the Kazakh fighter has his eyes on a fight against the former title contender Colby Covington.
”Colby Covington, get ready, your next or a title shot is next.”
