UFC on ESPN 44 just took place at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

In the featherweight main event, former champion Max Holloway showed that he’s still a level above the rest of the contenders in the stacked division as he put on a great performance against Arnold Allen.

With a flawless UFC record going into the fight, Allen gave it all over five rounds, landing heavy left hands and good kicks, but in the end, Holloway was declared the winner by unanimous decision with 49-46, 49-46 and 48-47 and the judges’ scorecards.

“Arnold Allen hits like a truck,” Holloway credited his opponent after the fight. “My modeling career is in jeopardy because of you.”

In the co-main event, the 37-year-old featherweight Edson Barboza secured the eleventh post-fight bonus of his UFC career as he knocked out Billy Quarantillo with a perfect knee.

$50,000 post-fight bonuses

Edson Barboza, Brandon Royval and Gillian Robertson secured the Performance of the Night bonuses,  while Bill Algeo and T.J. Brown each banked $50,000 for their Fight of the Night.
