UFC Sao Paulo just lost a highly interesting fight after an injury forced featherweight prospect David “Silent Assassin” Onama to pull out.
“My health comes first and I hope to be back in the octagon next year,” Onama commented on the withdrawal.
His opponent Lucas Alexander announced Tuesday that he’s not getting a replacement for the prelims fight.

Updated UFC Sao Paulo fight card
UFC Sao Paulo marks the promotion’s ninth visit to the city. The card is headlined by a heavyweight clash where rising star Jailton Almeida takes on former title challenger Derrick Lewis in a five-rounder.
We will also see Danish welterweight Nicolas Dalby take on the dangerous Gabriel Bonfim in the co-main event.
