Veteran Clay Guida returns for his 60th professional fight!

MMA veteran Clay “The Carpenter” Guida is ready for his 34th fight in the UFC. On December 3 he will face Scott Holtzman at UFC Fight Night 216. The fight will be Guida’s 60th professional bout (!) since his debut back in July 2003.

In his last fight, “The Carpenter” lost to Claudio Puelles via a first-round submission. Holtzman has two straight losses against top ranked lightweights Beneil Dariush and Mateusz Gamrot.

Clay Guida made his UFC debut in 2006

Veteran Clay Guida has certainly been in the UFC for quite some time.

Since making his promotional debut in back in October 2006, the “Carpenter” has been fighting house holdnames like B.J. Penn, Charles Oliveira, Brian Ortega, Anthony Pettis and Rafael dos Anjos.

  • Women’s Flyweight bout: Tracy Cortez vs. Amanda Ribas

  • Middleweight bout: Eryk Anders vs. Kyle Daukaus
  • Featherweight bout: Marcelo Rojo vs. Francis Marshall
  • Lightweight bout: Nathan Levy vs. Genaro Valdez
  • Lightweight bout: Michael Johnson vs. Marc Diakiese
  • Women’s Strawweight bout: Angela Hill vs. Emily Ducote
  • Lightweight bout: Scott Holtzman vs. Clay Guida
