Former UFC heavyweight Cain Velasquez is out on $1 million bail on charges that includes attempted murder.
A Santa Clara County judge recently decided that Velasquez is allowed to partake in an upcoming pro wrestling event for promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide.
Judge Arthur Bocanegra ruled that Velasquez will be allowed to partake in the event without GPS monitoring, and will will leave December 1 and return December 4.
Velasquez has been jailed for more than eight months while he faces charges, including attempted murder. In total, Velasquez faces ten counts in his case, including premeditated attempted murder, which if he gets convicted potentially could lead to a life sentence.
Terms of the release include GPS monitoring and a 1 million dollar bail, as well as a protective order to stay a minimum of 300 yards from the alleged victims.
