Swedish MMA fighter Christopher Bajo recently signed a multi-fight deal with Ares FC. The organization is the leading MMA promotion in France and was created in 2019.
“We’re happy to announce that we secured a multi-fight contract for Christopher Bajo (3-2). Christopher Bajo ready to cause choas in Ares Fighting welterweight division,” Phoenix Sports Management wrote in a recent Instagram post.
Malmö’s Christopher Bajo turned pro in May last year and has a record of 3-2. Before turning to MMA, he won the Swedish Championship in Muay Thai.
Bajo made his MMA debut on Superior Challenge 22 where he faced Christian “Lången” Stigenberg. After three even rounds Stigenberg stood as the winner by majority decision. In his second fight, at Wolf Fight Promotion 3, Bajo defeated Abdallah Habib in the very first round, and in his third bout he took an impressive TKO-win against Moe Ahmadi at Fight Club Rush 10.
On February 25 this year, Bajo made his UAE Warriors debut and finished Demezode Agba with a rear-naked-choke in the first round. Check out the submission below!
Ares FC will have their next event, Ares 8, on September 2. The card includes a women’s world flyweight championship where Alexandra Tekenah will take on Ivana Siri.
