Three division world champion Badou Jack is looking to make 2024 one of his best years. At 40, the Swedish world champ claimed to be hungrier than ever.
“I started boxing to create a legacy, fight the best in the world, while being led by my faith,” Jack recently said. “Since my last fight, I’ve been back in the gym preparing for my next fight and I’m ready for another challenge. Boxing is more than a sport…it’s a lifestyle. I’m 40 years old, but when you live a disciplined life and take care of yourself, age is just a number. I’m prepared to face anyone from Cruiserweight to heavyweight – let’s go!”
Badou Jack: “I know what it takes to become great”
As the current WBC cruiserweight champion, there are plenty of good fights to make. However, Jack knows that he’s not got that many years left at the top.
“I’ve never felt this hungry in my career as I do now. I know what it takes to become great, and I’m ready to close out my career with a bang.”
In his last fight he stopped defending world champion Ilunga Makabu in round 12. The career-defining win marked the sixth straight for Badou Jack.
