Jack Della Maddalena rebooked to face UFC newcomer on Saturday

Rising welterweight star Jack Della Maddalena has a new fight.

The 29-year-old was originally set to face Sean Brady at UFC 290, but will take on promotional newcomer Bassil Hafez, who steps up on less than a week’s notice, in a welterweight bout at UFC on ESPN this Saturday. The fight was first reported by MMA journalist Ariel Helwani.

No. 14 ranked Della Maddalena is undefeated in the UFC with four straight wins. Hafez enters his promotional debut with back-to-back wins in Fury FC.
