Mohammed Walid determined to steal the show at FCR 21: ”It’s short notice but as a fighter we should always be ready”

After a stint of fights in Germany, European MMA prospect Mohammed ”No Mercy” Walid will make his debut on Swedish soil against the toughest opponent possible.

In just a few days, he will take on Allstar Training Center’s powerhouse Bilal Tipsaev at FCR 21, in front of hundreds of Swedish MMA fans.

”Brother, I feel good. I am ready,” Walid tells Frontkick about the upcoming fight. ”I was already in camp for a fight at Brave CF. My opponent pulled out, but I got this offer and I took it. It’s short notice but as a fighter we should always be ready.”

Mohammed Walid got a 100 percent finishing rate

With a 100 percent finishing rate, Walid is truly a devastating fighter. In fact, all his seven pro MMA wins have come within two rounds. In his last fight, he stopped German veteran Oemer Cankardesler via rear-naked-choke to snap a three-fight losing skid.

But facing a capable fighter as Tipsaev on short notice – in his hometown – is not an easy task for any athlete out there. The Allstar’s fighter and his team are known for their work ethic and relentless training sessions.

”I have known his team from the first day of my career,” Walid says. ”I know Majdi Shammas and at one time I actually got offered to fight Bilal, but at that time I had another fight.”

The fight between Tipsaev and Walid will serve as the co-main event of FCR 21. Check out the full fight card below.
