Last night, KSW 70 took place at Atlas Arena in Lodz, Poland, and was the Polish MMA promotion’s fifth event in 2022.
In the main event, fomer strongman champion Mariusz Pudzianowski knocked out KSW veteran Michał Materla. At the 1:47 mark of the very first round, the Polish heavyweight’s landed a fierce uppercut that floored Materla, and the fight was over.
The victory was Pudzianowski ‘s fifth straigth by stoppage, since he have secured KO and TKO wins in every fight since March 2019.

Former Chelsea goalkeeper wins by submission
In the KSW 70 co-main event, former Chelsea goalkeeper Ricardo Prasel defeated UFC veteran Daniel Omielańczuk via submission in the first round. After getting sent to the canvas by some heavy shots, Prasel got a hold of Omielańczuk’s leg and was able to secure a ankle lock that finished the fight.
