Bilal Tipsaev and Glenn McVeigh faced each other at Brave CF 54 in September last year and now they clashed again at the main card of FCR 13.
Round one started at a high pace and it did not take long before Tipsaev took down his opponent. The Allstars fighter put heavy pressure on McVeigh with solid striking and slick footwork, and by the end of the round he took down his opponent again.
In round two, the pace was as high as in the first round. Even though Tipsaev was the shorter fighter he seemed to always be just out of reach for McVeigh. With less than two minutes left, the Stockholm fighter took the fight to the ground.
In the third round, Tipsaev fought in the same style with solid striking and an early takedown. McVeigh tried his best but couldn’t match his opponent on the ground.
After three rounds, Tipsaev stood as the winner via unanimous decision with 30-27 on all scorecards.
