Swedish Karate fighter and social media star Samuel Ericsson inked a one-fight deal with boxing promotion Misfits Boxing. No date or opponent is set for his boxing debut.
“BREAKING: I’m going to misfitsboxing to show the power of Karate! I’ve worked so much on my boxing lately and now it’s time to show the world a new version of myself! This is a one fight deal so after this fight I’m back to Karate Combat and the pit,” Ericsson wrote on Instagram.
Samuel Ericsson has made a name for himself in the fight promotion Karate Combat.
In his last fight at Karate Combat 37 in Florida, the Swede defeated Tarek Khelifi via TKO.
“The first calf kick I threw I felt my chin just digging into the back of his leg and I was like ‘I got you’. After the first round I was very confident that it would work again,” Ericsson said in the post-fight interview.
