YouTuber turned pro boxer Jake Paul does his best to live up to his name “Problem Child”, as he continues to make headlines outside the ring.
At yesterday’s Global Titans boxing event, he set off a bizarre scene as he angered coach John Fury, father of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, to a point where he ripped off his shirt and bare-chested tried to fight Paul.
“Problem Child” is undefeated as a professional boxer and holds a record of 6-0.
In his last fight, he defeated former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva in an eight-round boxing bout. After a slow first round, the eight-round fight turned out to be a back-and-forth battle, where 47-year-old Silva pushed his younger opponent as much as he could.
After the final bell, Paul stood as the winner via unanimous decision with the judges scoring the fight 77-74, 78-73, 78-73.
However, the boxing bout didn’t turn out to be the massive financial success that he hoped it would be.
“The pre-buys were going crazy, up, up, up. And then Wednesday, when the news came out about Anderson saying he got knocked out or whatever, and the fight was in jeopardy in all this press came out, the pre-buys tanked all the way down,” Paul claimed a few days after the fight.
