Things are going well for Swedish MMA fighter Alexander Lööf (7-2).
He is ready to return to the cage to take on Wesley Maia at Cage Warriors 180 on November 15 in London.
In addition, Lööf also signed a multi-fight deal with the major European promotion. In his last outing he participated in the organization’s first Prize Fighter tournament on July 20.
Lööf’s coach, Jörgen Hamberg, is excited about inking a multi-fight deal with Cage Warriors.
“We see Cage Warriors as the next step towards the top league, and at bantamweight, he is both big and strong. We will be chasing the title and the top tier hard,” Hamberg told Maximum Sports.
The coach is also keen on the opportunity to face Maia next.
”It feels right for Lööf, who is a performer with an entertaining style and who, in just two fights, has gained strong support in England. The guy he’s facing is also from the second half of the Prize Fighter tournament, and that energy could make for a wildly entertaining fight. Unlike the Prize Fighter winner’s boring control game, this guy comes in to fight and put on a show.”
