Alina Dalaslan is quickly making a name for herself on the European MMA scene. After two dominant wins, the former amateur world champion is now looking to secure her third straight victory under the OKTAGON MMA banner.
In this exclusive feature, Dalaslan opens up about her next opponent and what fans can expect on September 20.
In just two professional fights, Alina Dalaslan has established herself as a relentless force in the OKTAGON bantamweight division, showcasing vicious knockout power the moment she senses vulnerability.
On September 20, the undefeated prospect will be back in action for her third fight in just six months. She’s facing Clara Ricignuolo who makes her comeback to the cage after a three-year hiatus.
”Clara is a good fighter because she is very robust and knows how to box, but I think she’s not as fast or as well-rounded as I am,” Dalaslan tells Frontkick about her third pro fight.
Was the level of activity something you planned from the beginning, or did it just work out that way?
”It was the plan from beginning. I‘m in training every day so I’m in shape all the time and I like to fight.”

Alina Dalaslan: ”I had to make a statement right away”
While most fighters begin their pro journeys in modest settings, Alina Dalaslan made an immediate impact by debuting in front of a packed arena crowd in Europe’s leading promotion OKTAGON MMA. The former amateur world champion lived up to the hype and showcased her star potential with a dominant third round finish.
A few months later, she delivered another third round stoppage as she brutally stopped Róża Gumienna via knockout in front of 30,000 roaring MMA fans.
Only two fights into her professional career, it’s safe to say that Alina Dalaslan is already emerging as a rising star in Europe’s leading promotion.
Why do you think your rise has been quicker than most fighters in the sport?
”I entered the business as an amateur World Champion, so I had to make a statement right away by fighting strong opponents, whom I defeated convincingly. My finish rate in both amateur and professional fights is quite high for the women’s division, which I think makes me attractive to the fans.”
The 25-year-old rising star fights in OKTAGON MMA’s deepest weight class for females, the bantamweight division. On August 9, the Norwegian bantamweight champion Cecilie Bolander will hit the stage for her first title defense as she faces the undefeated OKTAGON star Lucia Szabova in a red-hot title fight.
Dalaslan will definitely keep an eye on the fight since she expects to face the winner in a near future.
”I’m looking forward to the title shot in August in my division — they are my future opponents.”
