Keyshawn Davis stops Anthony Yigit in the ninth round

Swedish boxer Anthony Yigit just took on Keyshawn Davis in a 10-round lightweight bout at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

The American 24-year-old dropped Yigit late in the eighth round with a body shot, but the Swedish southpaw, who’s tough as nails, was able to continue the fight. In the ninth round, Davis eventually stopped Yigit via TKO.

With the win, the young American is still undefeated with a pro boxing record of 8-0.

”A hell of a performance man,” Davis said in the ring after the fight.

Anthony Yigit is booked for a boxing bout in Sweden

Anthony Yigit is booked for another fight on May 27 on his home turf as Armand Boxing Promotion returns with a major professional boxing show in Malmö, Sweden.

The card will feature some of the most interesting Swedish boxers.
