Baysangur Makaev demands FCR title fight: ”I will beat everyone into pulp!”

The entertaining and talented Baysangur Makaev has slowly but steadily become one of the top featherweights in Sweden.
Coming off an impressive second-round TKO against Erik Wahrolen at FCR 19, Makaev now reveals that he has another big fight coming up on June 1.
”I will compete at FCR 20 in the hockey arena,” Makaev tells Frontkick in a exclusive interview. ”I won’t name any names right now, but it will be a good one for sure! The fans will be happy, the Swedish fans will be very happy.”
The young MMA prospect has moved between featherweight and lightweight as a pro fighter, but will from now on focus on competing at 66 kilo.
”I’m a natural featherweight and will always be able to make weight with a good diet. 66 kilo is my perfect weight class. I will beat everyone into pulp.”
Demands a FCR title shot
If Baysangur gets his hand raised on June 1, which he’s confident he will, he demands a shot at the inaugural FCR featherweight title.
According to himself, there is no other featherweight more worthy of a title shot.
”I’m the only featherweight fighting in Sweden with four straight wins, two by stoppage. What other fighter has that? No one! I deserve the title and after my upcoming fight I need a title shot.”
”If I’m still alive on September 7, Inshallah, then I will fight for that belt. That’s my belt, no one can take it.”

Baysangur Makaev: ”Mix between Guram and Khamzat”
Baysangur Makaev is a product of the well-known Allstars Training Center in Stockholm.
Grindning endless hours with some of the best MMA fighters ever coming out of Sweden certainly paid off as he’s currently on an impressive four fight winning streak.
”It just takes one takedown, then it’s goodbye,” Makev says about his fighting style. ”I’m not just a wrestler, I can grapple and mix things up too. I’m like a combination of Guram Kutateladze and Khamzat Chimaev.”
