Halloween is around the corner, and the UFC decided to pull a prank on top ranked featherweight Calvin Kattar who’s fighting in Saturday’s main event.

”The Boston Finisher” seemed to take the prank well, and Saturday’s fight against Arnold Allen is probably not in danger.

Calvin Kattar is ready to stop Arnold Allen

Boston’s Calvin Kattar is looking to bounce back from a tough split decision loss to Josh Emmett in June, and is focused on not letting the win in the upcoming five-round main event slip through his hands.

“This sport is very humbling,” Kattar said at the pre-fight press conference. “It’s always, ‘on to the next,’ even after a win or a loss. We understand we’ve got a tough competitor ahead of us. To not give him my full focus would be a mistake. All hands on deck for this one. All the focus is on Arnold Allen.”

No. 6 ranked Allen has a record of 18-1, with an impressive 9-0 in the UFC. He last defeated Dan Hooker via a first-round TKO at UFC London in March.

Kattar is 3-3 in his last six fights, with victories against Jeremy Stephens, Dan Ige and Giga Chikadze. His losses came against some of the division’s best opponents in Zabit Magomedsharipov, Max Holloway and Josh Emmett.
