Christopher Bajo will take on Daniel Karlsson at FCR 17

Fight Club Rush just announced a highly interesting fight for their upcoming card in Uppsala on September 9. MMA and Muay Thai fighter Christopher Bajo will return to FCR to take on Daniel Karlsson in a welterweight bout.

Bajo has a 3-2 pro MMA record but over the last year mostly competed in Muay Thai, in Swedish promotion Muay Thai For Life.

Karlsson has a 2-1 pro MMA record and comes from his career-first loss as he was submitted by Dario Bellandi at Cage Warriors 154.

FCR 17 fight card

FCR 17 will take place on September 9 at Fyrishov Arena in Uppsala and will be headlined by a flyweight title bout between Renato Vidovic and Jonny Touma.

The co-main event features a welterweight clash between Sweden’s Christian Stigenberg and Finland’s Toni Lampinen.

• Bantamweight bout: Ali Yazbeck vs Shoeb Akrami

• Women’s strawweight bout: Josefine Modig vs Nina Back
• Welterweight bout: Christopher Bajo vs. Daniel Karlsson
