Less than two months ago, Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone retired from MMA with a professional record of 35-16, with 24-15 in the UFC. During his eleven years in the promotion he literally fought everyone in lightweight and welterweight, including stars like Jorge Masvidal, Anthony Pettis, Rafael dos Anjos, Eddie Alvarez, Tony Ferguson and Conor McGregor.
“I’m going to be a movie star, baby. It’s time to bow out. I’ve got to know when,” Cerrone said back in July. “This was the perfect event, man – a sold-out crowd in Las Vegas, talking to you. I’ve got my boys. It was one hell of a career, man. Hopefully one day, I’m in the Hall of Fame. Thank you so much, UFC.”
Donald Cerrone starred in small roles in film and television since 2017, including The Equalizer 2, The Harder They Fall and Spenser Confidential.
