Fan favourite Raymond Johansson to face ”Baby Hulk” in Nordic derby!

The years final Fight Club Rush event is getting closer and the next match was just announced! Yet another Nordic derby is now set for FCR 18 between Swedish fan favourite Raymond Johansson and Finland’s Joona Hannula!

A documentary sereis was released leading up to Johanssons debut, which occurred against Allstars prospect Djaba Murtazaliev at FCR 13 last summer. Johansson would taste defeat in his first pro fight, losing via submission.

Johansson bounced back in a big way, however, knocking out Dimitris Dimitriadis in the first round in his second pro bout at FCR 17 last month, improving to a 1-1 record.

Hannula has fought solid amateur competition and made his pro debut in november of 2021, defeating Matas Radvilavičius via third round TKO. As it currently stands Hannula has a 2-1 record and most recently submitted Irakli Makhatadze.

Current lineup for FCR 18

Fight Club Rush 18 will take place in Västerås on November 25 and will just as usual be streamed by UFC Fight Pass.

The headliner of the evening is a flyweight title fight where champion Jonny Touma will take on his rival Renato Vidovic in a five round bout. The pairing would have clashed at FCR 17 in September, but will now finally face each other in Touma’s first title defense.
