After five rounds of action, Lima defeated Jonas Mågård via decision with 48-45, 48-46 and 48-45 on the scorecards. The Swedish-Brazilian put on an impressive performance as he landed solid striking and threatened with numerous submission attempts.

In the fourth round he was deducted a point due to an illegal knee, but was still able to win the fight via unanimous decision.
