Strickland backs up Edwards after Covington’s remark: ”Biggest f*cking c*nt move you can do”

At a recent UFC press conference, Colby Covington made a tasteless remark toward Leon Edwards about his father who was killed during Edwards’ youth.

One of many UFC colleagues to come to Edwards’ aid is reigning middleweight champion Sean Strickland who’s furious at Covington.

“Him making fun of Leon’s dad, that is the biggest fucking cunt move you can do. Leon’s mom, dad – bad guy or good guy, it doesn’t matter. She raised a boy to be a fucking man, to win a title and be a good man. A real fucking American would applaud him for that, he wouldn’t tear him down. Colby is a fake fucking pussy. If he were standing here right now, the only thing he would do is call 911 because he’s the definition of a fucking bitch.”

Sean Strickland will defend his title

Middleweight champion Sean Strickland will take on former KSW welterweight champion Dricus du Plessis on January 20 at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

Strickland and Du Plessis exchanged heated words during the press conference. At their first face off there were separated by security as tensions continued to rise.

He won the belt from Israel Adesanya at UFC 293 in September after pulling off one of the biggest title bout upsets in the promotion’s history.
