Finland’s Eemil Kurhela just clashed with Slovakia’s Marco Novak in a featherweight fight at OKTAGON 65.

The Finnish fighter moved well with his karate stance and landed good straight rights and uppercuts. Novak answered with solid and effective leg kicks. Kurhela won the first round.

Novak started strong and really put his striking together and by the end of the round he showed off his skilled grappling.

Kurhela worked relentlessly for a takedown in the third round but Novak defended well and looked for his own takedown. After three high-paced and exciting rounds, Novak stood as the winner via unanimous decision with 29-28, 29-28 and 30-27 on the scorecards.
