OKTAGON 49: Results – hanif Moeil crowned heavyweight champion

OKTAGON 49 just took place at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Germany.
In the main event, we saw a heavyweight title fight between Hatef Moeil and Lazar Todev. Both fighters were undefeated since 2018 going into the massive heavyweight headliner.
It was a hard fought fight with both competitors landing heavy strikes. While Moeil had his moments Todev was disciplined and countered much of what was thrown his way. After five full rounds Moeil was awarded a unanimous decision.
IN addition, UFC veteran Leandro Silva would secure a unanimous decision after three competitive rounds against Germanys own Christian Eckerlin.
‘Apollo’ Silva 🇧🇷 upsets the German crowd by defeating Christian Eckerlin by unanimous decision at OKTAGON 49.
Both men had their bright spots but it was the Brazilian veteran who was one step ahead.
