After a three years absence from the octagon, UFC lightweight and commentator Paul Felder might return to competition.

Inspired by the last performance of the legendary, “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung, who gave it all in his last career bout against Max Holloway in August, Felder felt it was time to reconsider his retirement.

However, entering the testing pool is ”by no means” is a guarantee that Felder will step foot in the octagon again, according to ESPN.

During his long hiatus, “The Irish Dragon” has kept himself busy, commentating on many of the promotion’s biggest events alongside the likes of Daniel Cormier, Dominick Cruz and Jon Anik.

Before officially hanging up the gloves on May 22, 2021, Felder fought some of the best lightweights in the world, including Edson Barboza and Dan Hooker, as well as former 155 lbs champions Rafael dos Anjos and Charles Oliveira.
