PFL Playoffs 1 results: Stevie Ray defeated Anthony ”Showtime” Pettis

Last night, the 2022 PFL Playoffs began with the lightweights and light heavyweights fighting at New York City’s classic Madison Square Garden.

In the main event, former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis lost via unanimous decision to Stevie Ray in a three-round bout (29-28, 29-28, 29-28). Ray will now fight in the 2022 PFL lightweight tournament finals against Olivier Aubin-Mercier.

Aubin-Mercier defeated Alexander Martinez with 30-27, 30-26 and 30-26 on the scorecards.

In the co-main event, Omari Akhmedov won a unanimous decision over Josh Silveira with 30-27, 30-27 and 29-28 on the scorecards. Akhmedov will now fight the light heavyweight finals next where he will face Robert Wilkinson.

Wilkinson finished Delan Monte after just 97 seconds of the first round at the PFL Playoffs 1.
