A fight between light heavyweights Volkan Oezdemir and Nikita Krylov has just been added to the stacked UFC 280 event that will take place on October 22 in Abu Dhabi.
No 11. ranked Krylov called out No. 8 ranked Oezdemir at UFC London a few weeks ago, and now he got what he asked for.
“I want to fight with Oezdemir. I think Abu Dhabi is the best location. I’m ready to fight in Abu Dhabi in October 2022,” Krylov said.

The current UFC 280 fight card
With Nikita Krylov and Volkan Oezdemir added to the UFC 280 event, the fight card looks to be the absolute peak of 2022. The main event will be a lightweight title bout between former champion Charles Oliveira and Islam Makhachev.
In the co-main event, bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling will take on former two-time champion T.J. Dillashaw.
