Retire or fight: What’s next for heavyweight Tyson Fury?

After Saturday’s win over Dillian Whyte, heavyweight champion Tyson Fury announced his retirement from the sport of boxing.

”I fulfilled everything that I wanted to fulfill. I’m going to retire as the only second heavyweight in history, after Rocky Marciano, to retire undefeated,” Fury said on the post fight press conference.

Even though ”Gypsy King” declared he will leave the sport, his promoter Bob Arum is more than sure that the champion will stick around for a bit longer.

”No, he definitely won’t retire. Of course not. Are you crazy?” Arum sad to USA TODAY Sports+ shortly after Fury’s victory.
