Banned UFC vet Reza ’Mad Dog’ breaks silence: Fires back at OKTAGON and Akonne Wanliss
Publicerat

Retired UFC fighter Reza Madadi was supposed to coach Sahil Siraj at yesterday’s OKTAGON MMA event. However, after a brawl with Siraj’s opponent, Akonne Wanliss, the fight was postponed and Madadi banned from participating at the promotion’s future events. Get updated here!
Now, Madadi breaks silence and comments on the incident and what led up to his actions.
”I have been blessed to be a MMA fighter and coach for more than 20 years and during all these years I have shared the cage with many amazing fighters. Competed and coached in many events around the world! My fighter’s fight is cancelled because of me and not because of his opponent’s disgusting and unsportsmanlike behavior, he has been harassing us and all other fighters for several days without a sound from the OKTAGON MMA organisation,” Maddadi wrote on Instagram.
”But as soon as I felt enough is enough and put a stop to his disgusting and disrespectful behavior then they rule it! As an athlete, I do not defend my behavior but unfortunately I had enough! I Really really I want to apologize to (Sahil Siraj) who was affected by this incident and all the fans who were looking forward to this fight last night. But not least I will always stand a billion percent behind my fighters and defend them to the death. Disrespectful obscene words this time had consequences.”
