Report: Streaming-giant Netflix wants to broadcast Jake Paul boxing events

According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, streaming site Netflix is looking for a potential deal to stream one of the YouTuber-turned-pro boxer Jake Paul’s upcoming boxing bouts.

”Netflix is considering stepping into the boxing ring with its first livestreamed match. The company has discussed streaming a match featuring boxer and YouTube influencer Jake Paul, as well as a potential bout between boxers from Premier Boxing Champions,” Wall Street Journal wrote.

Jake Paul looks to fight in December

Paul began his boxing journey in January 2020 and recently confirmed that his ninth bout will take place on Friday, December 15. Date and venue is yet to be announced.

In his last fight, ”The Problem Child” took one of his career’s biggest wins as he defeated popular MMA star Nate Diaz on points.

The Cleveland native sole loss came against Tommy Fury, brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. Before the defeat he won seven straight fights, including wins against former UFC champions Tyron Woodley and Anderson ”Spider” Silva.
