More than seven months after Amanda Nunes retired from MMA and vacated her bantamweight strap, we will finally see two top ranked fighters clash for the title.

Seasoned veteran Raquel Pennington and rising prospect Mayra Bueno Silva are set to clash at UFC 297 on January 20. The event is expected to go down at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada.

The promotion has not yet announced the fight but the news of the matchup was first reported by Ag Fight.

Bantamweight vet Pennington rides a five-fight winning streak and so far has 16 fights in the division. Bueno Silva has not lost in four fights, however, her last submission win was  overturned due to a drug testing issue.
