Swedish Muay Thai fighter Johanna Persson will fight for a WMC Nordic title fight on August 12.

Persson will fight for the 108 pound title (-48,9kg) against the tough veteran Tessa Kakkonen at Lahti Fight Event Vol.2 in Finland.

The seasoned Kakkonen is a IFMA World Champion and a IFMA European Champion, and will be one of the hardest test so far for Persson.

In an exclusive comment to Frontkick, the Swede shares her thoughts on the fight.

”I’m always stoked to fight and this fight is something extra since we are clashing for the WMC Nordic title,” Persson says. ”It will be exciting to face Tessa, who has so much routine, and test myself against her. I know it will be a great high-paced fight from start to finish. We have trained for this for a long time and I’m so happy to get the chance to fulfill another goal of mine.”
