Jon Jones reacts to Tom Aspinall’s callout
Following the victory at UFC 304, interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall called for a unification bout with Jon Jones. On Sunday, “Bones” reacted to Aspinall’s call out.
“Supply and demand at its finest, I love it,” Jones wrote on social media.
Jones is expected to make his first title defense later this year against former champ Stipe Miocic.
Chael Sonnen: Pimblett is two fights away from title shot
MMA expert Chael Sonnen claims Paddy Pimblett could be fighting for the lightweight title in 2025. Former Cage Warriors champion Pimblett is on an eight-fight winning streak and has yet to lose in the UFC.
“Paddy is two fights away – they’ve got to be the right two fights – but he is two fights away to fighting for a world championship,” Sonnen said.
Leon Edwards issues first statement
Former welterweight champion promised to get back again after the tough title fight loss at UFC 304 this past Saturday. He lost the strap to Belal Muhammad in a fight that went the distance.
“To my fans I’m sorry I couldn’t get the job done this time,” Edwards wrote on Instagram. “I have been through harder times than this in life and I will rise again. Thanks for all the love and support I will get this back in blood.”
King Green gives first comments on loss to Paddy Pimblett
King Green, formerly known as Bobby Green, had one of the most disappointing nights of his career at UFC 304. He was submitted in the first round by Paddy Pimblett.
“What a day,” Green said in an Instagram Story. “Thank you, guys, for checking in on me. I’m OK, I guess. Shit happens. Feel like I slipped into some shit and it just went all went the perfect way, I had a bad night. No excuses. Shit happens.
Green is a 50-fight veteran who fought the absolut elite of the lightweight division.

Manel Kape claims Muhammad Mokaev tapped from his guillotine choke at UFC 304. Mokaev went on winning the fight via decision.
“You can clearly see the moment when Mokaev tap,” Kape wrote on X. “Before the fight we were warned by the same referee that any manipulation of tap or dirty games the judge would end the fight or have removed the point. But?”
OSP vs. Ryan Spann set for UFC Vegas 97
Longtime UFC veterans Ovince Saint Preux and Ryan Spann are set to clash on September 7. The light heavyweight bout will go down at UFC Vegas 97.
The 41-year-old veteran Saint Preux will go down to the 205-pound division following a four-fight run at heavyweight.
