Swedish MMA fighter Tobias Harila takes a new big step in his successful career as he’s reportedly ready for Dana White’s Contender Series.

According to Tapology, Harila is set to face Luis ”Corazon de Leon” Pajuelo on Contender Series 2023: Week 3 on August 22.

Peruvian fighter Pajuelo has a professional recod of 7-1, with four straight wins, while Harila holds a pro record of 12-3.

Tobias Harila has back-to-back KO wins

In his last fight at Cage Warriors 153 a few weeks back, ”Bad Intention” once again lived up to his nickname as he knocked out the undefeated hometown hero Ryan Shelley.

In the third round, the Swede rocked Shelley with a heavy right punch and followed up with a knee which forced the referee to stop the fight.

This was his second straight KO win in Cage Warriors in the past few months.

In a recent exclusive interview with Frontkick, Tobias Harila predicted that 2023 will be a good year for him.

“This year I want to focus on the simple things. My performances. I think I will perform well this year. I will train hard and enter the cage prepared for every fight,” Harila said.

“There are a lot at stake, I want to keep moving forward, make more money, get to the UFC. But you have to focus on the next performance. That’s what it’s all about. Go in there and win the fight.”
