Conor McGregor and Tony Ferguson to coach TUF?

The coaches for the next season of TV show “The Ultimate Fighter” have not yet been officially named.

However, two of the lightweight division’s most popular veterans – Conor McGregor and Tony Ferguson – both recently claimed they’ve been offered to coach the next season of TUF.

In a recent Instagram post, ”The Notorious” said he liked the idea of coaching another season of TUF.

”I have just been offered to coach this role again. I like it. It is full immersion which is needed. I see fighters lining up. I know whats ahead I been ready motherfuckers,” McGregor wrote.

Tony Ferguson: ”I Choose You McKnacker”

A day after McGregor’s Instagram post, fellow lightweight Tony Ferguson stated on social media that he too was offered to coach the show. He also claimed that he had whished to coach against the former two-division champion.

“I’ve Been Asked To Coach On TUF Against Ol’e Fathead, or Anyone Of My Choosing If That Cake-Eatin’ Sum’Bish’ Wouldn’t Show *mack* … I Choose You McKnacker,” Ferguson wrote.

Back in 2011, ”El Cucuy” won Season 13 of TUF with Team Lesnar, while ”The Notorious” coached opposite Urijah Faber on Season 22 in 2015.

Both veterans had a rough time in the UFC. Ferguson rides a five-fight losing skid while McGregor is 1-3 since 2018.
