Tough TKO loss for Anton Turkalj at UFC 293

Swedish light heavyweight Anton ”Pleasure Man” Turkalj just returned for his third fight in the UFC as he took on the experienced hometown hero Tyson Pedro on the main card of UFC 293.

The Swede started with pressure and landed hard leg kicks but Pedro came back with leg kicks of his own. Two minutes into the round Pedro landed heavy right hands that dropped Turkalj and the referee stepped in to stop the fight.

Anton Turkalj has three straight losses

The Swede had back-to-back losses going into the fight and was in big need of a win. With the tough defeat he is now 8-3 as a pro.

Tyson Pedro has nine fights in the UFC and comes from a loss against Modestas Bukauskas. He is now 10-4 as a pro MMA fighter.
