Former top-ranked UFC striker makes pro boxing debut against football player (!)

Former top ranked UFC middleweight Uriah Hall retired from MMA this past August. Now, he is set to test his wings in professional boxing as he faces former NFL star Le’Veon Bell at the Jake Paul vs. Anderson Silva event on October 29. The news of the matchup was first reported by ESPN.
The four-round boxing spectacle will be at catchweight of 195 pounds and mark the pro debuts for both Hall and Bell.
Headlining the Arizona event is Youtuber turned pro boxer Jake Paul, who will take on former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva.

Uriah Hall defeated Anderson Silva
38-year-old Uriah Hall retired from the sport of MMA following a unanimous decision loss to Andre Muniz. All in all, he was 10-9 inside the octagon. Making his UFC debut back in 2013, Hall fought some of the best middleweights ever, with notable wins over Anderson Silva and Chris Weidman.
NFL star Le’Veon Bell made a successful amateur boxing debut knocking out another NFL player in Adrian Peterson.
On October 29, it will be interesting to see how well the football player matches against a seasoned and heavy hitting MMA striker.
