Title fight in danger at Battle of Botnia 8: Promotion looking for replacement

Battle of Botnia’s welterweight champion Andreas “Reel Steel” Ståhl was scheduled to take on former Jungle FC champion Max Denner in his first title defense on December 9.

However, Denner has pulled out due to an injury according to the promotion. Battle of Botnia is currently looking for a replacement for Ståhl.

“There are many who want to challenge Andreas ”Reel Steel” Ståhl for the title,” the promotion wrote on Instagram. “We will be back shortly with a new opponent.”

Battle of Botnia 8 will take place on December 9 at Thorén Arena in Umeå.

The crowd will see their home town hero Fernando Flores take one Aridane Romero Rodriguez in a featherweight co-main event. The card also features interesting amateur bouts where National Team fighters Astrid Vikgren and Emma Schiöler will clash with tough opponents.
