On Saturday May 27, Anthony Yigit will enter the ring for his first fight in Sweden since 2017.
The former European champion and Olympian is set to take on UK’s Jacob Quinn in a four-round lightweight bout at ABP Fight Night 9 in Malmö.
Talking exclusivly to Frontkick, the former Olympian gives his thoughts on the comeback on Swedish soil.
“I’m so happy to fight in Sweden,” Yigit says. “It will be four rounds of pure action and the best part is that everyone in Sweden can watch it on Viaplay!”
With 30 professional fights to his name, the Swede is way more experienced than his 26-year-old opponent who has a pro record of 6-2.
“He’s big, since I’m going up two weightclasses, but he’s not as experienced. I will show him that size isn’t everything. My experience is the key to win the fight.”
